Besides, there is often a lively game of checkers going on in the back. Watch for the sales as Harold posts them. He only orders as much as his bank account will support, so if you want one of the latest goods from "the East" you have to be fast before it is gone because he often only gets them once. From time to time, you will find candy, gifts, and miniature doll things along with just plain fun stuff to share with other friends and doll lovers like yourself.
By the way, Harold only charges postage to customers outside the USA, and please allow up to 10 days for the overland transport of your item.

Sewing Balls. These cute little drawstring balls are very characteristic of Victorian times. They are made of showy satin with embroidery in white and green ribbon. These are not best as a doll accessory, but they are great if you sew or have another need to carry small things in different pockets. They are about the size of a tennis ball and they will expand to be a little bit bigger when filled. Inside there is a stuffed bottom, perfect to use as a pin and needle cushion. It is surrounded by 8 little pockets that could each hold a small spool of thread, embroidery floss, buttons, snaps, needles, thimble, or any other number of items for needle work and finishing. This is an elegant bag for an adult, not a doll, although our tiny dolls would like to ride in it. It measures 9" high and 7" wide. The outside is a shiny burgundy fabric; covered with gold, burgundy, and blue beading. It has a long, braided-bead handle that can easily be tied in a knot if the owner decides to shorten it. The inside is lined in burgundy-brown satin, with a pocket and a magnetic snap closure. Price is $19.
